Description: It is round and often slightly edged with a smooth, leathery skin of an orange yellow to dark red in colour when ripe. The interior is separated by membranous walls- white, spongy and bitter tissues-into compartments packed with sacs, filled with sweetly acid, juicy, red, pink or whitish pulp.
